Céline Dion and Gwen Stefani are teaming up on 'The Voice USA 2017'

One of music's most beloved voices is joining The Voice.

Gwen Stefani is returning to The Voice, and accompanying her is Céline Dion, who announced that she's joining Team Gwen as her advisor during the upcoming season's Battles.

Stefani and Dion appeared on Today Friday to discuss their new on-screen alliance, in an interview that was more sung than spoken.

"To get the prize right here - everyone's going to be so mad!" Stefani bragged about enlisting Dion for the show.

"I know Gwen very well, I know her career, I know how beautiful she is all the time. I'm so jealous, I can't even see one thing (wrong)," Dion replied, studying her co-star's face as she laughed.

Dion also tweeted the good news about her new project. "Very excited to join @gwenstefani on @NBCTheVoice as #TeamGwen’s advisor for Battles! #TheVoice -Céline," she wrote, sharing a picture of her and Stefani.

Olympic long jumper Jazmin Sawyers auditions on The Voice

Given that they haven’t usually clinched a record deal yet, talent show entrants tend to have a day job – but not many can claim they have competed at the Olympic Games.

Enter The Voice UK contestant Jazmin Sawyers, 22, who revealed on Saturday night’s show that she had represented Team GB at Rio 2016, placing a creditable eighth in the women’s long jump.

“I was annoyed at the time because I wanted more,” said Jazmin. “But eighth in the Olympics was a good result so for now I’ll take it.”

In her younger years, Jazmin has also competed in the high jump and heptathlon – often vying with fellow Rio star Katarina Johnson-Thompson – and even in the bobsleigh at the Youth Winter Olympics.
